Made the trip down to fish for marlin and sails. Fished 5 days in a row with my friends Bill P, Bill M and Gunner on the Prime Time with Butch Cox. We had a great time and caught 16 fish.
Briery Creek 3/19-20
Well me and Grattan made it down to Briery Creek to bass fish. We fished on the 19th from 3 till 7 with me catching 5 and him 4. It was really windy and cold.
On the 20th we fished from 9 till 7 with me catching 12 and him 1. Biggest fish were about 4 lbs. Highlight of the trip was watching Grat on the first day catch 4 fish in 4 casts with 3 of them at 4 lbs.
As always a great time with great friends, the fish were just a bonus.
Fished Smith Mountain Lake the 19th and 20th. Also did a little waterfowl hunting as well. Great trip with great friends. 8 guys total with the final tally of 0 ducks, 0 geese and 1 fish combined for all of us.
